Dandoc Database

Documentation

Welcome to DanDoc

DanDoc is a collection of Chancellery records from Denmark during the 16th and 17th Centuries. Each record has been specifically selected based on its relevance to fish, fishing, fisheries, fish trade, political and legal instruments or general interest relating to fisheries.

Search criteria are based on identified areas of research significance, including annual date ranges, species of fish or sea mammals, locations, technology deployed and general type of record.

These selection criteria may be added to in future based on identified research requirements.
